Getting Started

Upon powering on your refurbished Zorin OS laptop, it should log in automatically to the “home” user account. Administrative changes (e.g., installing software, modifying system settings, or managing users) require the password.

To change the password or manage users:

1. Click the Menu button (bottom-left corner, Zorin logo or grid icon).
2. Type “Users” (or search for “Users” in the menu search bar).
3. Press Enter to open the Users settings.
4. Select the home account (you can edit the full name if desired).
5. Click the Password field or the “Change”/“⋯” button next to it.
6. Enter your new password, confirm it, and apply the changes.

For added security, choose a strong password and consider creating additional user accounts if multiple people will use the device.
